When single emotions are stringed out, cracks appears.
In between these cracks we find pure emotions that hold the most powerful strength in it.
Each held its identification color, yellow for happy, pink for dream, red for love and many more.
The world doesn't look like a clearly divided rainbow, but it simulates a pot of mixed color together. In the end we cannot see any color, we only see a huge swirl. At times, we decide that we saw the edge of a color, but it disappears so rapidly we can never be sure.
Nevertheless, cracks exist, and occasionally, the doors to them open.

Annie lost her track of time walking back with heavy loads of packages from the MRT station. Despite the humid and burning morning, the evening was actually as cool as water. She just came back from a dinner with a friend, and walking from the main gate of her university to her dorm is like walking from live to death and when we thought the story ends, there's a revival.
She was literally looking at the road, or at her toes. Annie walked with a drowsyness that melt into the humid night air, and kept her eyes locked on the bricks ahead. It's been almost a year since she last walked this road, she had been so busy, she was always rushing on her bike from one place to another, the last time she walked was probably a year ago when her bike was stolen and she was too lazy to buy a new one. It was those days that she had most time to herself, she would walk the huge university campus and let her imagination run wild with whatever crosses her eyes
When she makes the turn from the library she hesitated, then for unknown urge she took the little trail next to the library that she seldom takes.
"Sometimes things doesn't happen for a reason." She had been so stubborn and curious about every cause in life, sometimes the exploitation of truth drives her mad, both in her mind and soul.
The trail seemed longer than usual today, somehow it seems that it never ends.
"That's impossible." She shook those thoughts off from her and kept on walking, focusing more on the bricks, avoiding the cracks in between carefully. Though nobody really believed her claim of having seen a dead snake's body in the middle of the road one afternoon, she believes her own eyes. They still crawl like they did in Eden’s in the darkest corners on the campus.
Some black unrecognizable spots on the brick caught her attention. “Is the blood?” “No it can’t be. My imagination is killing me again.” The dark spots happened to be little round objects with a soft look. She didn’t stop to examine it, it’s late now, and as much as she has been enjoying the night atmosphere she’s not ready to kneel next to unknown objects in a dark trail at ten o’clock in the night.
As a matter of fact, she had heard footpaces behind her. She’s sure there’s someone who also took the unknown interest in this road and had chosen to walk through it. The trail is narrow and it will be the last thing she wish to see, to be stuck in the middle of the trail with some stranger.
She add up her paces, and for a instance, she thought the end of the trail will never come, but it did, avoiding two obvious black round objects on the trail, she successfully walked down the stairs and found that the sound of the footpaces behind her was gone.
I believe in the snake you saw!
回覆刪除But I'm more curious about the footstep, maybe I should walk the path I seldom take at 10pm lol
Keep going:)
